Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

Landscape Draftsman

to join our Landscape Architecture team at Studio Naadi. The ideal candidate should have strong technical drafting abilities, an eye for detail, and the ability to translate conceptual landscape designs into clear, accurate drawings for execution.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Technical Drafting & Documentation

Prepare detailed

2D drawings

, including site plans, planting plans, irrigation layouts, sections, elevations, and construction details. Convert conceptual sketches and landscape ideas from architects/landscape leads into precise technical drawings. Produce

GFC (Good for Construction)

drawings with complete annotations, dimensions, levels, and material specifications. Draft

master plans, detailed layouts, BOQs

, and other required documentation.

2. Coordination & Collaboration

Coordinate with the

Landscape Architect

,

Structural

,

MEP

, and

Architectural

teams to ensure all drawings are aligned. Incorporate comments and revisions shared by internal teams, consultants, and vendors. Assist in preparing drawings for client meetings, presentations, and approvals.

3. Site Support

Support the team with

site measurement drawings

, as-built drawings, and technical clarifications required during execution. Update drawings based on on-site changes or client modifications.

4. Quality & Standards

Maintain drawing accuracy as per office CAD standards and naming conventions. Ensure layer management, line weights, hatches, and detailing follow Studio Naadi's templates and quality benchmarks. Keep drawings organised in project folders and ensure version control.

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

Strong proficiency in

AutoCAD

(mandatory). Working knowledge of

SketchUp

,

Photoshop

, or other drafting/visualization tools is a plus. Understanding of landscape elements such as

softscape

,

hardscape

, levels/contours, drainage, and basic civil works. Ability to interpret architectural drawings, surveys, and consultant drawings.

Professional Skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under timelines and handle multiple projects. Good communication and coordination skills. A proactive attitude to learn and grow within the landscape discipline.

Qualifications

Diploma/ITI in Civil Draftsmanship or related field. 1-4 years of experience drafting for landscape or architectural projects (freshers with strong portfolios may apply).
