Role Overview

The Architectural Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and construction documentation for healthcare and hospital projects. The role requires strong technical drafting skills, accuracy, and the ability to work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams for turnkey healthcare projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate architectural drawings, working drawings, and detailed layouts as per project requirements. Draft plans, elevations, sections, interior layouts, and detailed joinery/MEP coordination drawings. Convert conceptual sketches and design inputs from architects into technical drawings. Ensure drawings comply with hospital planning norms, NBC, fire norms, and NABH/JCI requirements. Update drawings based on client inputs, site conditions, and project team feedback. Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior teams for integrated drawings. Prepare as-built drawings after site verification. Maintain drawing version control and documentation as per company standards. Support architects in design development, presentations, and BOQ preparation. Visit project sites when required for measurements and clarifications.

Required Skills & Competencies

Excellent command of

AutoCAD

(mandatory). Knowledge of

Revit

,

SketchUp

, or other drafting tools is an advantage. Strong understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and services. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Knowledge of hospital planning, NABH norms, or turnkey project experience is preferred. Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple drawing sets. Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification & Experience

Diploma in Architecture / Civil Draftsmanship or equivalent. 4-8 years of experience in architectural drafting. Experience in hospital/healthcare projects preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
