Key Responsibilities
Technical Drafting:
Prepare detailed 2D architectural drawings, including floor plans, sections, elevations, and RCPs (Reflected Ceiling Plans).
GFC Drawings:
Generate "Good for Construction" (GFC) sets with precise measurements for site execution.
Joinery & Detailing:
Create detailed drawings for custom furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, and wall paneling (High-end finishes).
Coordination:
Incorporate inputs from structural and MEP (Electrical/Plumbing) consultants into the main architectural set.
Revisions:
Quickly update drawings based on site changes or client feedback.
Requirements
Experience:
2+ years as a Draftsman in an Architecture or Interior Design firm.
Software:
Mastery of
AutoCAD
(2D) is essential. Basic knowledge of 3D software (Sketchup) or Revit is a plus.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of construction materials, thicknesses, and layering standards in AutoCAD.
Speed & Accuracy:
Ability to deliver error-free drawings within tight deadlines.
Education:
Diploma in Civil Engineering, ITI Draftsmanship, or a related certification.
