Roles and Responsibilities of Architectural Draftsman

Prepare detailed and accurate architectural and working drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and layout using AutoCAD and related CAD software based on architects' and engineers' inputs.

Proficiently work on approval drawings complying with local authority requirements such as MCGM (Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai), SRA (Slum Rehabilitation Authority), MHADA, ensuring full compliance with applicable building regulations.

Well-versed in DCPR 2034 (Development Control and Promotion Regulations) for Mumbai, ensuring designs conform to zoning and planning norms.

Prepare and submit all necessary drawings and documents for timely approvals from local municipal and regulatory authorities.

Collaborate effectively with architects, project managers, structural and MEP consultants to incorporate changes, revisions, and ensure coherence in drawings and project documents.

Convert architectural sketches and concepts into precise CAD drawings aligned with project specifications.

Update CAD data into BIM and 3D modeling software to facilitate visualization and planning.

Conduct occasional site visits to verify existing conditions, measurements, and resolve discrepancies between drawings and site reality.

Coordinate delivery of drawings and revisions to site teams, support billing, estimation, and construction execution processes.

Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, approvals, and support preparation of presentations and client documentation.

Continually update knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and software advances.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
