Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Draftsman to lead and manage the preparation of high-quality architectural drawings and technical documentation. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of building systems, construction details, and architectural standards. This role involves coordinating with architects, consultants, and site teams to ensure precision, consistency, and timely delivery of drawings across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the drafting team in producing architectural working drawings, detailed drawings, and presentation sets. Review and finalize drawings prepared by junior draftsmen and ensure quality control. Interpret architectural concepts and convert them into accurate technical drawings. Prepare construction documents, tender drawings, and approval drawings as per project requirements. Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to integrate technical information. Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. Manage drawing schedules, revisions, and document control efficiently. Provide technical guidance to junior team members and support architects during project execution. Conduct site visits when required to verify details and incorporate on-site modifications into drawings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / ITI in Civil / Architecture Draftsmanship (or equivalent). 5-10 years of experience in architectural drafting and detailing. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop preferred. Strong understanding of construction materials, detailing, and architectural coordination. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and team coordination skills. Strong attention to accuracy, line quality, and presentation of drawings
