Job Description

BluEnt is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural CAD Associate to join our Architectural Documentation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings for residential, commercial, and other structures based on architects' sketches. This role involves developing master plan sets, modifying base drawings with various options, and creating different versions while ensuring compliance with exact measurements and building codes.The candidate should have strong proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and a solid understanding of architectural sketching and design principles.Key Responsibilities

Analyse building specifications, codes, and site requirements. Develop technical drawings from architects' sketches and specifications. Use CAD software and drafting tools to create and modify architectural documents. Prepare detailed and scaled plans for structures, foundations, and buildings based on provided data. Draft and refine layouts, elevations, sections, and construction details. Ensure drawings comply with technical specifications, codes, and standards. Review engineering drawings and designs for accuracy and adherence to guidelines. Generate additional documentation as required for each project. Coordinate with other team members and oversee their drafting work when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

Associate's degree or certification in architectural drafting, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural drafting. Experience with American design and drafting standards is preferred. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar). Strong knowledge of building design, construction codes, and structural analysis. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
