Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architect to plan, design, and oversee residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. The candidate will be responsible for architectural design, drawings, coordination with consultants, and site execution support to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Planning

Prepare architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings Develop working drawings, GFC drawings, and presentation drawings Ensure designs comply with local building bye-laws, NBC norms, and regulations Assist in space planning, material selection, and design detailing

Coordination

Coordinate with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants Work closely with interior designers, project managers, and site engineers Attend client meetings and incorporate design changes as required

Site Execution

Conduct regular site visits to ensure design implementation Resolve site-related design issues and provide technical guidance Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings and specifications

Documentation

Prepare BOQs, area statements, and project documentation Maintain drawing records, revisions, and approvals Support tender drawings and contractor coordination

Required Skills & QualificationsEducation

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) COA registration preferred

Technical Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) Working knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, Revit, or similar tools Basic understanding of construction methods and materials Knowledge of building codes and approval processes

Soft Skills

Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Good problem-solving and coordination skills Attention to detail and design sensibility

Experience

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in architecture/design firms Experience in residential and commercial projects preferred
