Job Description

Creating architectural plans, produces conceptual plans, renderings, and documents and detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software and potentially hand sketches. Researches, programs, plans, designs, and administers building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems, taking into account constraints such as town planning legislation, environmental impacts and project budgets.

Collaborating with engineers, they develop concepts for structures that meet project goals and operational standards, bringing architectural projects to life.

You will be responsible for designing new buildings, extensions, renovations, and restorations.

Develop ideas keeping in mind client's needs, building's usage and environmental impact.

Compile project specifications.

Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.

Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project, viewing building sites, proposed locations and attend client meetings.

Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.

Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions, focus on creating functional spaces that have innovative and appealing designs, Visual awareness and an eye for detail.

Communication and project management skills.
