This role offers the opportunity to lead quality and automation initiatives for Ericsson's Charging solutions within a highly advanced telecom environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

Own and drive the test automation framework for Ericsson Charging, including troubleshooting, enhancements, and automation strategy.

Design and execute E2E test cases, prepare test plans, manage test environments (HW/SW, simulators, tools), and perform quality assessments at node and system levels.

Provide technical leadership by mentoring teams, leading workshops, participating in project forums, and driving continuous improvements in testing practices and overall product quality.

Qualifications & Experience

B.E./B.Tech (CS/Electronics) or MCA, with 10+ years of experience in Telecom BSS product development and testing, especially prepaid charging systems.

Strong experience in test automation strategy, validation, customer deployments/UAT, and Agile environments.

Industry testing certifications (ISTQB/ISQA) and Ericsson Charging deployment experience are strong advantages.

Mandatory Skills & Knowledge

Proven expertise in test automation tools (

Robot, Python, Shell Scripting, GenAI

) TTCN, EFTF and Ericsson Charging systems.

Strong telecom domain knowledge, especially prepaid charging, SS7, Diameter, SIP, and core telecom protocols (GY/GX, RADIUS, AAA).

Hands-on experience with GenAI tools for productivity, solid analytical skills, Unix/system knowledge, and a strong team-oriented mindset.
