Develop conceptual designs, schematic drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, and 3D visualizations.
Ensure designs meet functional requirements, building codes, and sustainability standards.
Modify designs based on client feedback, feasibility, and technical constraints.
Project Coordination
Collaborate with structural, MEP, landscape, and interior teams for integrated design solutions.
Work with project managers, contractors, and vendors during all project stages.
Participate in site inspections to monitor progress and ensure design compliance.
Client Interaction
Meet with clients to understand requirements, budget, and preferences.
Present design concepts, material choices, layouts, and revisions.
Provide professional guidance on planning, space utilization, and project feasibility.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare working drawings, BOQs, and architectural documentation.
Ensure adherence to local building bylaws, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
Coordinate with authorities for approvals, permits, and compliance checks.
Software & Tools
Use CAD, BIM, and visualization tools for design development and presentation (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, etc.).
Maintain up-to-date project files, models, and documentation.
Skills & Competencies
Strong creativity and design visualization skills
Excellent understanding of architectural principles and construction methods
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, V-Ray/Lumion, and other design tools
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Good communication and presentation skills
Problem-solving and coordination abilities
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution
0-3 years of experience (freshers may apply depending on the role)
Experience in residential, commercial, or institutional projects is an added advantage
Knowledge of building codes, NBC guidelines, and approval processes
