Job Description

A Commercial Interior Architect job involves designing and planning the interior spaces of commercial buildings, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with building codes and regulations. They create detailed architectural plans, collaborate with clients and contractors, and manage projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Planning:

Develop concept designs, create floor plans, and select materials and finishes.

Project Management:

Manage project budgets, timelines, and ensure adherence to project specifications.

Client Communication:

Communicate design ideas to clients, understand their needs, and address their concerns.

Collaboration:

Work with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Technical Expertise:

Utilize design software, understand building codes and regulations, and ensure projects meet functional requirements.

Documentation:

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Site Supervision:

Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design plans and quality standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field .

Proficiency in architectural design software: (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills .

Project management skills .

Knowledge of building codes and regulations .

Creative and problem-solving abilities .

Understanding of materials, finishes, and furnishings
