Architect - LE

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Logistics (LO) Architect to lead the design, optimization, and governance of SAP ECC logistics solutions across Supply Chain and Operations. The role requires deep functional expertise, strong architectural skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP logistics solutions.


The candidate must have experience working with a global team as Kohler Co has plants in China, Thailand, India, North America, Brazil, EMEA and the UK. The candidate must be willing to manage and deliver a varied portfolio of tasks from simple configuration maintenance and end user support through to new process design. Compliance with Kohler best practices for project management is required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define end-to-end SAP Logistics architecture covering MM, WM/LE modules.

Design integrated logistics solutions aligned with business processes and enterprise architecture standards.

Provide analysis, counsel, and direction to management and personnel of operating units to analyze problems and develop solutions, as well as ensure efficient operation of existing systems and programs. Maintain an understanding of business processes and the implications of computer systems on these processes.

Provide inputs for incident solution review meetings, including general design review, incident scheduling, test plan, system and program tactics and methods, system controls, procedures, documentation, and the fix or change implementation plan.

Design detailed system and program specifications. Develop system documentation and user procedures. Prepare test data. Coordinate/perform system and program testing. Coordinate/perform system and program implementation and modification. Research systems and programs to determine causes of failure or poor operational performance; then define, test, and implement detailed solutions.

Participate in educational programs and professional societies involving analysis, leadership skills, computing technology, and systems methodologies. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Team Manager/ Global Manager

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 12 years of experience in SAP LO (LE/WM)

Worked on at least one end-to-end implementation project & 1 roll-out project along with support.

Configuration of Plant based on LO(LE/WM). Combined knowledge on SAP MM/WM skill-set

Hands-on SAP MM configuration experience with focus on MM functionalities Master Data (Material Vendor, info-records, source list, etc.), payment terms, pricing procedures, GR, IM etc

Hands-on SAP WM processes with focus on configuration based on changes in Warehouse layout and procedures

Worked at STO's- intercompany & within company.

Good knowledge of LO Master data.

Knowledge of sales, inbound and outbound deliveries/shipment, routes creation.

In depth functional knowledge of business functions in area of inventory management and warehouse management.

Experience in third party shipping system with SAP is an added advantage.
