Design Responsibilities
Contribute innovative, project-appropriate ideas to the team.
Create vignettes and hand sketches that align with spatial and design objectives, and clearly explain the rationale behind concepts.
Develop concept boards for review and approval by the Art Director and clients, ensuring alignment with branding, architecture, color schemes, materials, and lighting.
Select cost-effective materials and finishes that support the design vision.
Maintain scale and balance for maximum spatial impact.
Adapt designs to various styles without personal bias, establishing secondary focal points to enhance the overall aesthetic.
Incorporate the latest technology and operational requirements into designs.

Implementation Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, efficient results for assigned tasks.

Perform redline markups, revisions, and complete documentation packages.
Prepare production documents for both Design Development (DD) and Construction Documentation (CD) phases.
Maintain daily task lists, monitor schedules, and delegate effectively.
Assist project teams in documenting and mitigating delays.
Participate in regular project meetings to review tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
Communicate professionally with clients, subcontractors, and architects.
Document meetings and communications clearly and concisely.
Skills
Experienced in both renovation and new construction projects.
Confident in leading external meetings with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Conduct site visits for photography, progress reviews, quality checks, and punch list updates; identify and resolve critical issues promptly.
Troubleshoot on-site challenges without compromising design intent; provide hand-sketched solutions and secure necessary approvals.
Ensure thorough documentation of meetings, RFIs, and field directives.
Hold vendors accountable for quality, resolving fabrication and installation issues completely.
