The Architect will be responsible for designing building projects, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring that all designs comply with regulations, project goals, and budgetary constraints. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent design sensibility, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development:
Conceptualize and develop architectural designs based on client requirements and project feasibility.
Prepare design proposals, sketches, CAD drawings, 3D models, and renderings.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with civil engineers, structural engineers, MEP teams, and project managers to integrate design and construction requirements.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
Documentation & Compliance:
Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and documents for approval and construction execution.
Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, environmental standards, and safety norms.
Client Interaction:
Present design concepts and revisions to clients for feedback and approval.
Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the design and construction phases.
Technical Oversight:
Assist in selecting materials and finishes appropriate to the project's style, budget, and durability requirements.
Support tender documentation, technical submittals, and construction administration.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct periodic site visits to ensure design intent and quality standards are maintained during construction.
Resolve design-related issues that arise during the construction phase.
Key Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
Experience:
2-4 years of professional experience in architectural design, preferably within the construction industry.
Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and detailing.
Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
