Intern - Architect

Key Responsibilities:

1. 2D Drawing & Drafting:

Prepare and update 2D architectural drawings, layout plans, and working drawings using AutoCAD.

Assist in developing space layouts, concept drawings, and design details.

Revise and refine existing design drawings based on feedback from the design team.

2. BOQ & Estimation Support:

Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for architectural and interior works.

Coordinate with the engineering team to verify material quantities and specifications.

Ensure documentation accuracy in all quantity and material records.

3. Design Documentation & Coordination:

Organize and maintain architectural drawings, design references, and documentation.

Assist in preparing design presentations, proposals, and drawing sets for internal and client use.

Support in maintaining version control and drawing documentation logs.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the internship, the intern will:

Gain practical experience in architectural drafting, design documentation, and BOQ preparation.

Understand workflow integration between design, estimation, and project planning.

Develop proficiency in AutoCAD, measurement techniques, and project documentation.

Learn professional architectural practices, formatting standards, and documentation workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

:

Pursuing B.Arch / Diploma in Architecture or Civil Degree (3rd Year or above).

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).

Basic understanding of BOQ preparation and estimation processes.

Familiarity with MS Excel and digital documentation tools.

Detail-oriented, creative, and willing to learn in a professional environment.
