The successful candidate will be responsible for a comprehensive scope of work, including:
Architectural Design & Compliance:
Developing and presenting conceptual designs, external facades, and site plans for new construction and major renovations.
Preparing
Construction Documents (CDs)
, including architectural, structural, and MEP coordination drawings, suitable for permitting and construction.
Ensuring all designs adhere to local
building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards
.
Working with engineering consultants (structural, civil, mechanical) and managing the permitting process.
Conducting
site visits and construction administration
to ensure the build aligns with the design specifications.
Interior Design & Execution:
Creating detailed
interior space plans
and functional layouts for efficient use of space.
Designing and detailing non-load-bearing architectural elements like custom millwork, cabinetry, and interior staircases.
Selecting and specifying all interior materials, finishes, fixtures, furniture, lighting, and equipment (
FF&E
).
Developing aesthetic concepts, mood boards, and detailed 3D renderings for client presentation.
Managing vendor and contractor coordination for timely and accurate installation of interior elements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
A minimum of
4 years of professional experience
in an architectural or dual-role architectural/interior design firm.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) or a combination of an Interior Architecture/Design degree with deep technical/architectural experience.
Licensure:
[State/Country] Architectural License or Registration is required
OR a clear path toward obtaining licensure is expected.
Technical Proficiency:
Expert knowledge of
Revit, AutoCAD, or ArchiCAD

Knowledge:

Type I-V construction
and the ability to interpret and apply local building and accessibility codes.
