Job Description

:
Looking for a GCP Architect who is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high?performance cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role requires strong architectural expertise, deep hands?on knowledge of GCP services, and the ability to collaborate with cross?functional teams to align cloud strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures on GCP, leveraging services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions.
• Lead cloud migration efforts from on?premise systems to GCP, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to define cloud strategies, integration approaches, and solution roadmaps.
• Implement security and compliance controls, including IAM, encryption, network security, and governance frameworks.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar tools.
• Optimize cloud performance and cost, leveraging monitoring tools like Cloud Monitoring and Logging.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud architecture and infrastructure issues.
• Stay up to date with new GCP features, architecture best practices, and emerging technologies (AI/ML, serverless, Anthos, hybrid cloud).

Mandatory Skills

• 5-7+ years in cloud architecture, with strong hands?on GCP expertise.
• In?depth understanding of cloud architectural principles, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, compliance, and IAM.
• Ability to evaluate existing systems and design future?state cloud architectures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder?management skills.

Good to have
Experience building hybrid-cloud or multi-cloud solutions
Experience with AI/ML, serverless, or data analytics on GCP (BigQuery, Vertex AI).
