We are seeking an Architect to lead the planning, design, and coordination of building projects from concept to completion. The role involves client interaction, preparation of drawings and documents, coordination with consultants, and periodic site visits to ensure design and statutory compliance.
Key responsibilities
Meet clients to understand project requirements, budget, and timelines, and translate them into clear design briefs.
Prepare concept designs, schematic layouts, and detailed architectural drawings using CAD/BIM tools.
Develop municipal/approval drawings, working drawings, and construction details in line with applicable building rules, codes, and regulations.
Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to integrate their inputs into a coherent set of drawings.
Prepare BOQs, specifications, and tender/construction documentation as required.
Review and update designs based on client/consultant feedback, site conditions, and statutory comments.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, clarify drawings, and resolve design-related issues.
Assist in project planning, timelines, and design deliverable schedules; ensure adherence to quality standards.
Maintain organised project records, drawings, and correspondence.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch or D.Arch) from a recognized institution..
Proven experience as an Architect (you can specify: e.g., 2-5 years) in residential, commercial, or industrial projects as relevant.
Proficiency in AutoCAD & Sketchup (
Revit will be an added benifit
), MS Office, and basic familiarity with local building byelaws.
