Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution (Master's in Architecture preferred). Registered with the Council of Architecture (CoA), India. Minimum

7-10 years of professional experience

, preferably in educational/large-scale institutional projects. Proven experience in campus planning, sustainable design, and project execution.

Role Overview:

KL Deemed to be University is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Architect to lead the planning, design, and execution of campus infrastructure projects.

The Architect will be responsible for creating functional, sustainable, and aesthetically appealing designs that align with the university's vision of being a world-class educational institution.

Primary Responsibilities:

Campus Planning & Design

Develop master plans and architectural designs for academic buildings, hostels, laboratories, libraries, auditoriums, and other university facilities. Incorporate modern educational infrastructure concepts, smart classrooms, and collaborative spaces. Ensure optimal space utilization with scalability for future growth.

Regulatory Compliance & Approvals

Ensure compliance with AICTE, UGC, NAAC, NBA norms, and state/local building codes. Obtain necessary approvals from municipal and statutory authorities. Implement universal accessibility (ramps, lifts, signage) across campus.

Sustainability & Green Initiatives

Design eco-friendly and energy-efficient infrastructure (solar, rainwater harvesting, natural ventilation). Promote green campus practices aligned with NAAC/AICTE recommendations. Integrate smart building technologies for energy and resource conservation.

Pay Scale:
