Job Description

1. Design Development

Create and develop architectural designs for residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects. Ensure alignment of designs with the developer's brand, market positioning, and project objectives. Integrate client and stakeholder inputs during conceptual, schematic, and design development phases.

2. Regulatory Compliance & Approvals

Ensure all architectural plans comply with local building codes, zoning laws, fire safety, and environmental regulations. Coordinate with legal and liaison teams for obtaining necessary approvals (e.g., RERA, municipal, environmental).

3. Project Coordination

Collaborate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, landscape architects, and interior designers. Attend project coordination meetings to ensure architectural integrity is maintained during execution. Monitor site progress to ensure design intent is translated accurately.

4. Innovation & Sustainability

Incorporate sustainable design principles and green building practices. Innovate in material selection, space utilization, and energy efficiency. Stay updated on architectural trends and technologies (e.g., BIM, prefabrication, smart homes).

5. Documentation & Detailing

Prepare detailed working drawings, BOQs, and design documentation for construction. Maintain organized project records for audits, handover, and future reference. Support tendering and contractor selection with technical inputs.

6. Client & Stakeholder Communication

Present design concepts to internal and external stakeholders. Provide architectural support during client meetings, sales events, and marketing efforts. Address client queries related to unit layouts, plans, and project design.

7. Cost & Feasibility Support

Work closely with the cost estimation and project planning teams to align designs with budget. Propose design optimizations that balance aesthetics, functionality, and cost.
