Job Description

Position Overview:

The Junior Architect will support the architectural team in designing, planning, and developing building projects from concept through completion. This role involves preparing drawings, conducting research, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring project documentation meets industry standards. The Junior Architect will work under the supervision of senior architect and project manager.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing architectural designs, concepts, and presentations. Prepare detailed drawings, plans, 3D models, and renderings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software. Support in preparing construction documents, specifications, and material selections. Conduct research on building codes, regulations, sustainability practices, and site requirements. Participate in client meetings and internal design reviews. Coordinate and communicate with consultants (structural, MEP, landscape) to ensure design alignment. Assist in site visits, surveys, and documentation of existing conditions. Support project team with administrative and project management tasks. Ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards, deadlines, and quality expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field 1-2 years of professional experience in an architectural firm. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or other design tools. Strong understanding of architectural principles, codes, and building systems. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
