Job Purpose

Responsible for Design, build and maintenance of automation tools, system architecture for monitoring and identifying issues, & resolving them automatically. Need to work closely with other enterprise architects to develop tools strategy and automation strategy for the group and help in identifying tools for managed services.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define tools and automation strategy for the group
• Identify the automation opportunities across all the DC operations and take 10% efficiencies every year as a target
• Work with different enterprise automation tools and systems like IPSoft, Ayehu, etc. and develop strategies to leverage them for the team.
• Define system architecture thru Service Now and leveraging other ITSM tools
• Develop SOAR and related technologies to eliminate L1 and repeatable operations in security ops
• Identify and automate infra related operations on ongoing basis
• Develop runbook-based automation and also create a culture to develop runbooks
• Develop different customer service-related interactions and strategies to create omni channel experience for customers.
• Work along with management to develop integrating BMS, DCIM and IT ops to build synergies and eventually go towards unmanned data centers

Qualifications and Experience

BE/B-Tech or equivalent with Computer Science or Electronics & Communication

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE :

• About 10 to 12 Years of relevant experience
• Excellent coding and development skills in languages like Python and also different automation tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of Windows OS and other operating systems
• Understanding of different monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabix, Zenoss, etc.
• Experience different server platforms like Dell, HPE, IBM, etc.
• Have experience working OS patch management and automating the same
• Have good experience in service now or other large ITSM tools
• Has experience in managing server infra, designing large scale server architecture on x86 based platforms.
• Has experience in UNIX and Linux related operating systems and flavors like Unix and Redhat, etc.
• DCI Technologies: VXLAN, OTV and LISP
• SDN/NFV/SDWAN technologies: Cisco ASI, VMWare NSX-T, Cisco Viptela, Silverpeak, ZScaler, etc.
• Has experience in network and security systems, especially windows security tools and end point security.
• WAN Optimizers: Riverbed Steelhead and Cisco WaaS
• Monitoring Tools: Nagios, Zabix, etc.
• Load balancers: F5 LTM, F5 GTM/DNS, Citrix Netscalaer ADC
• Work experience in all server families like Dell, HPE, Lenovo, IBM.
• Knowledge on CISCI and RISC processors, should now ARM processors.
• Knowledge on VMWare and cloud hyper scalers like Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.
• Scripting and automation skills: JSON, Ansible, Terraform and Python.
• Certifications like Service Now, Ayehu, CCIE R&S or CCIE Data center certified and Azure/AWS certified architect
• Proficiency in MS office and related applications
