Architect is an individual contributor and subject matter expert who leads in the design and participates in the implementation of quality engineering, release automation, Continuous Integration Test solutions and Specialized Testing (like performance testing, security testing etc.




The Architect will collaborate within a team of technologists to produce effective plan and strategy for our clients developed solutions, and ensure it meets client requirements and specification. He She will also be responsible for providing inputs for technical estimates, and be a key contributor to overall successful delivery of specialized testing and Test automation projects. They will work with all disciplines to produce feasibility assessments, carry out Proof of concepts, participate in PreSales and in some instances, may directly lead a team of Engineers to validate solution or provide oversight


Primary Responsibilities:


Be a subject matter expert in Test Automation, Test Strategies, Continuous Integration and Pre Sales (for solutions pertaining to Quality Engineering)


Should have consulting experience in the DevOpsCICD process & architectures


Work with enterpriselevel clients in technologiesdomain such as BFSI, IOT, Retail, Commerce etc.


Drive the POCRnD work in Quality Engineering space


Guide the project teams towards solving testing challenges


End to end ownership for pre sales RFP in testing


Work as Release and Test Automation architect to design and develop frameworks, accelerators and solutions across various platforms such as Web, Mobile, DTP and API


Provide thought leadership, best practices, and stay uptodate on relevant industry trends.


Serve as a technical subject matter expert during the full implementation of the release and test automation plan and strategy and Continuous testing in DevOps pipeline


Deliver high quality work with little oversight, take on the more challenging tasks and assignments


Work to mitigate risk and escalate to technology team lead and client team as appropriate


Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior Engineering team members


Ability to work collaboratively in teams with other specialized individuals


Able to work in a fastpaced, technical environment with minimal instruction


Required Skills and Experience:


BS in Computer Science or equivalent educationprofessional experience is required


Should have 15+ yrs. of experience in Quality Engineering using Open Source technologies




Should have experience in building Quality Engineering Center of Excellence with hands on experience in developing automation frameworks


Should have experience in using Automation platforms like Tricentis, Accelq,


Testim, Qycrus, etc.

Should have hands on experience in Release and Test Automation (For example Jenkins, Git, Maven, Selenium, Appium, API Rest Assured SOAP)




Should have experience in designing solutions for automating different application platforms in a single framework Eg: Automating Web browser, Mobile, DTP, Command lines and API applications test automation in a single platformframework


Should have hands on experience in performance testing, defining strategies and capacity planning


Should have worked in client projects implementing release and test automation solutions


Hands on Experience working with at least one programing languages Python, C, Java etc.).


Should be able to write and review code


Good verbal and written communication skills
