Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Maintaining the billing system \xc2\xb7 Call or follow up with Insurance companies on behalf of physicians and carryout further examination on outstanding Accounts Receivables \xc2\xb7 Call insurance companies directly and convince them to pay the outstanding claims \xc2\xb7 Check the relevance of insurance info offered by the patient \xc2\xb7 Evaluate unpaid insurance claims \xc2\xb7 Call insurance companies and check on the status of claims \xc2\xb7 Transfer the outstanding balance to the patient of he/she doesn\xe2\x80\x99t have adequate insurance coverage \xc2\xb7 Make corrections to the claim based on inputs from the insurance company \xc2\xb7 Maintaining accounts receivable files and records \xc2\xb7 Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries Requirements and skills \xc2\xb7 Graduate of a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree. \xc2\xb7 Good organizational skills to implement timely follow-up \xc2\xb7 At least 1 year of experience as AR caller in RCM(Revenue Cycle Management) for US medical billing \xc2\xb7 Worked in a BPO industry catering to customer needs would be preferable \xc2\xb7 Knowledge on Outlook, Word and Excel or similar desktop applications. \xc2\xb7 Ability to multi-task \xc2\xb7 Willingness to work in night shifts \xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills \xc2\xb7 Strong reporting skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to follow instructions precisely \xc2\xb7 Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team \xc2\xb7 Prior experience of working in a medical billing company and use of medical billing software will be considered an advantage.
