Role Purpose:
An AR Caller works in the hospital's billing or revenue cycle department. Their job is to follow up with insurance companies or patients to ensure that claims are processed and payments are received on time.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Follow up on insurance claims -- check the claim status with insurance providers.
2. Resolve denials and rejections -- identify reasons for claim denials and take corrective action.
3. Update claim status in the hospital billing software.
4. Coordinate with billing team to reprocess or escalate unresolved claims.
5. Maintain documentation of all follow-up actions and communication.
6. Meet daily/weekly targets for claims follow-up and payment recovery.

Skills Required:
Knowledge of medical billing and insurance terminology*.

Basic computer and data entry skills*.
Familiarity with US healthcare process(for international AR calling roles).
