Essential Job Functions:

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the AquaSec platform, with deep knowledge of its features, functionalities, configurations, and best practices for use within AKS.
• Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of the AquaSec platform to deliver comprehensive container security, including vulnerability scanning, runtime protection, admission control, and compliance monitoring.
• Develop and maintain AquaSec security policies and rulesets to detect and prevent threats and enforce compliance standards across AKS clusters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AquaSec and its integration with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Stay updated on the latest AquaSec features, updates, and security advisories, and proactively implement necessary enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including cluster deployment, management, security configuration, networking, and scaling.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, containerd, etc.) and container security principles.
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes security concepts such as RBAC, network policies, secrets management, admission controllers, and security contexts.
• Practical experience with Azure security services relevant to AKS, including Azure Security Center/Defender for Containers, Azure AD, Azure NSGs, and Azure Firewall.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native application and infrastructure security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools and processes.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues in containerized environments.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to document technical designs, security policies, and procedures clearly and concisely.
