Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled
Technician
to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Zoss Water Tech's water purification and treatment systems. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring our systems operate efficiently and effectively, delivering high-quality water solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation:
Install, configure, and commission Zoss Water Tech's water purification systems (e.g., RO plants, water softeners, filtration units, UV systems) at client sites.
Ensure all installations adhere to company standards, safety protocols, and relevant regulations.
Conduct pre-installation site surveys to assess requirements and prepare for successful deployment.
Maintenance & Servicing:
Perform routine preventive maintenance on installed systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Conduct scheduled inspections, cleanings, and component replacements.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, malfunctions, and breakdowns in water treatment systems.
Execute timely and effective repairs, including replacing faulty components and adjusting system parameters.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients as needed.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct performance testing and quality checks after installation and repairs.
Monitor system parameters and water quality to ensure compliance with specifications.
Client Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients, explaining technical issues and solutions clearly and professionally.
Provide basic training to clients on system operation and routine maintenance.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Documentation & Reporting:
Complete detailed service reports, installation checklists, and expense reports accurately and promptly.
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
Report on system performance, issues, and resolutions.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or Water Treatment Technology.
Proven experience (1-3 years) in the installation, maintenance, and repair of water treatment systems (e.g., RO, UV, filtration, softening).
Strong understanding of water chemistry and water treatment processes is a plus.
Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical wiring, and basic mechanical tools.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
