We are seeking a skilled and motivated AppSheet Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom business applications using the Google AppSheet platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of no-code/low-code development principles and a knack for translating business requirements into efficient, userfriendly applications that solve real-world problems. You will work closely with various departments to digitize workflows, automate processes, and improve overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities-
Application Development: Design, build, and deploy robust, scalable, and intuitive applications on the AppSheet platform from various data sources (Google Sheets, SQL databases, etc.).
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and end-users to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications and application features.
Data Modeling & Management: Structure and manage underlying data sources to ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance for AppSheet applications.
UI/UX Design: Create clean, user-friendly interfaces and intuitive user experiences within the AppSheet environment to maximize user adoption and satisfaction.
Workflow Automation: Implement business logic, workflows, automation, and scheduled reports within AppSheet to streamline and automate manual processes.
Integration: Integrate AppSheet applications with other business systems and platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, CRMs, APIs) as needed.
Testing & Deployment: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure they are free of errors and meet all specified requirements before deployment. Manage the application lifecycle from development to production.
Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing technical support to endusers to ensure they can effectively use the applications. Create documentation and user guides.
Maintenance & Optimization: Continuously monitor application performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement updates and enhancements.
Qualifications & Skills Required:-
Proven experience (1-2+ years) in developing and deploying applications using Google AppSheet.
Strong understanding of AppSheet's features, capabilities, and limitations, including expressions, actions, workflows, and bots.
Proficiency in managing and structuring data in sources like Google Sheets, Excel, and/or SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).
Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into functional application designs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically and creatively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred:-
A portfolio of AppSheet applications you have built.
Experience with Google Apps Script, SQL, and/or REST APIs for integrations and advanced functionality.
Familiarity with other Google Cloud Platform services.
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
Experience in business analysis or process improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
