Overview

We are seeking for an Apprentice role to join our team in Safina, Bangalore office.

Your role

Work as part of the AtkinsRealis Water Management Consultancy (WMC) team. Work on a range of projects relating to water quality modelling for rivers, lakes, estuarine and coastal environment. Work to high standards, ensuring the right first-time delivery. Ownership of the work of self. Contribute to technical discussions/meetings positively through knowledge sharing.

About you

Candidates should have a clear and demonstrable technical understanding of water quality, and related issues, including hydraulics and hydrology. Candidates should have strong data and statistical analysis capabilities.

Essential qualifications:

Master's degree in civil engineering/water resource/environmental engineering from a recognised University. Demonstrable knowledge of hydraulics as part of academic projects. Experience in using design or hydraulic modelling software for academic projects is preferred. Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) e.g. MapInfo, ArcGIS or QGIS is preferred. Good report writing skills and fluency in English.

Desired qualifications:

Value addition through innovations and automation in project delivery. Programming capabilities on Python/R/SPSS/Matlab/C/C++. Capability to incorporate AI into the day to day work.
