Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification. 2-4 years of experience in application administration and/or quality assurance, including hands-on involvement in test execution, defect tracking, and supporting QA environments.

Major Job Responsibilities:

Formulate and carry out manual and automated test scripts to confirm software functionality and performance. Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using appropriate tools. Collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to quality standards. Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, results, and reports.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle and methodologies (e.g., functional, regression, integration testing). Competence in the application of test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or related substitutes. Proficiency in defect tracking tools such as Jira. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments. Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Effective problem-solving and debugging capabilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Must Have Skills:

Capability in manual and automated testing. Skillfulness with test automation tools (for example, Selenium, JUnit). Proficiency in managing defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira). Understanding of Agile or DevOps workflows. Strong analytical and communication skills.
