Job Overview TE Connectivity\'s Application Development Teams are responsible for writing required application specifications and using programming various languages and development tools to design, build, test, implement, and support web and desktop applications. Roles & Responsibilities In this position you will apply your skills to establish DevOps practice to have a consistent and automated way to build, package, test and deliver solutions ranging from BI to AI. The DevOps Architect will continue evaluating industrial trends, establish best practices and optimize the BI and advanced analytics environments to deploy analytics solutions at scale. This role will be closely working with leadership teams from the different organization to establish the foundation to create value for diverse business functions such as supply chain, pricing, Industrial IOT & digital factory implementation, and will impact business units that span through multiple geographic areas Understand current state architecture, including pain points. Create and document future state architectural options to address specific issues or initiatives. Provide thought leadership around the use of industry standard tools and practices leveraging experience and current industry trends. Innovate and scale architectural best practices around building and operating DevOps workloads by collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management in a hybrid environment that is distributed across the globe between Cloud and On-Premises. Contribute to maturing the DevOps and SRE practices within TE by utilizing methodologies such as CI/CD, Agile, and Acceptance Test Driven Development. Develop scripts and automate using Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash. Manage CI and CD tools. Practice Root Cause Analysis to determine the scope and scale of issue impact. Create epics/stories and construct automation to prevent problem recurrence. Competencies And Experience Required/Desired 5+ years of DevOps Engineering or similar software engineering role in build automation and continuous deployments. 5+ years of DevOps Engineering in AWS Cloud platform. 5+ years of experience with CI/CD & Infrastructure as a Code like AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform. 5+ years of experience with Linux infrastructures, database SQL, Bigdata Platform, CI/CD tools, Shell Scripting Languages (bash, Python, JavaScript, etc.) & Ansible. 5+ years of experience in Containerization Tools like Docker & Kubernetes. 5+ years of experience in configuring & setting up of Jenkins Pipelines as a Code. 5+ years of experience with AWS tools such as, S3, Glue, Aurora, RDS, EC2, EMR, Redshift, ECS, SageMaker, Lambda Functions, AMI, VPC and SAML Roles & Policies. Strong programming skillset with high proficiency in Python, R, etc. Working knowledge of databases, data warehouses, data preparation and integration tools, along with big data parallel processing layers such as Apache Spark or Hadoop. Experience in developing basic data science models Multiple experiences implementing solutions for advance analytics using open source & AWS based solutions. Ability to collaborate with management, users, contract resources, vendors, and other IT teams. Strong problem-solving capabilities. Results oriented. Relies on fact-based logic for decision-making. Ability to work with multiple projects and work streams at one time. Must be able to deliver results based upon project deadlines. Willing to flex daily work schedule to allow for time-zone differences for global team communications.
