Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users regarding HIS/EMR/LIS/RIS/PACS application issues.
Perform
Root Cause Analysis
and resolve functional and technical tickets within SLA.
Execute
SQL queries
for data validation, troubleshooting, reporting, and log analysis.
Work with
REST/SOAP APIs
for integrating external systems such as payment gateways, lab machines, insurance portals, or mobile apps.
Develop and maintain small scripts and utilities using
Python
to automate workflows or data migration tasks.
Support custom module development and minor enhancements in
Django-based internal applications
.
Coordinate with development teams to escalate defects, document change requests, and participate in UAT cycles.
Maintain documentation such as knowledge base articles, release notes, SOPs, and training materials.
Assist with implementation, upgrades, configuration, and rollout of new features.
Ensure adherence to
data security, privacy, and hospital IT compliance
(models, views, serializers, URL routing, ORM).
Understanding of Linux server basics (SSH, logs, services).
Experience with version control (Git preferred).
Domain / Functional Skills (Preferred)
Experience supporting any of the following healthcare systems:
HIS / EMR / LIS / RIS / PACS / HMS / Billing / Pharmacy / OP-IP workflows (Preferable)
Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, DICOM (added advantage).
Understanding of hospital workflows: patient registration, admissions, OT scheduling, nursing notes, lab workflows, billing, discharge. (Preferable)
