Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to troubleshoot problems, analyzing system performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications that are vital to business functions. You will engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely solutions, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business requirements. 2. Gather and analyze requirements by collaborating with business stakeholders and data owners. 3. Connect to various data sources (SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, Dataverse, etc.) and perform data modeling. 4. Create DAX formulas to enable advanced calculations and metrics. 5. Optimize data models for performance, speed, and usability. 6. Manage Power BI datasets, dataflows, scheduled refreshes, and gateway configurations. 7. Publish and share reports securely using workspaces, apps, and row-level security (RLS). 8. Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and validation before deployment. 9. Provide ad-hoc insights and analytics to support business decisions. 10. Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and knowledge transfer sessions. 11. Support Power BI governance, version control, and report lifecycle management. Professional & Technical Skills: 1. Power BI (Reports, Dashboards, Data Modeling, DAX, Row-Level Security) 2. SQL (Queries, Joins, Stored Procedures, Optimization) 3. Excel (Advanced formulas, Power Query, Pivot Tables, VBA) 4. Power Query / Dataflows 5. SSRS / Tableau (Good to have) Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 4 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI). - This position is based at our Noida office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
