Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that involve identifying and resolving issues within critical business systems. Your day will typically include analyzing system performance, troubleshooting software problems, and collaborating with team members to ensure seamless operations. You will also be responsible for monitoring system alerts and responding to incidents promptly, ensuring that business processes remain uninterrupted. Your role will require a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving, as you work to maintain the integrity and efficiency of the software applications in use. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the documentation of processes and procedures to enhance team knowledge. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe. - Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and operations. - Experience with debugging and troubleshooting software applications. - Familiarity with database management systems and data manipulation. - Ability to work with version control systems and deployment processes. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe. - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
