Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your day will involve troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues to ensure seamless operations. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead and mentor junior team members. - Implement best practices for system maintenance. - Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance. - Proactively report potential issues and remediation steps to customers based on information gathered from monitoring data - Identify potential flaws in monitoring setup (missing metrics) and improve proactive monitoring - Recording, reporting invalid alerts and making monitoring environment more reliable - Analysis of systems contributing to highest number of alerts - System analysis with focus on performance tuning and customer problems - Provide recommendations to customer to avoid alerts/unplanned outages Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration. - Strong understanding of system monitoring and performance tuning. - Experience in SAP system upgrades and installations. - Knowledge of SAP security and authorization concepts. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP HANA administration. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
