Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve software-related challenges, ensuring the smooth operation of essential applications. You will engage in problem-solving activities, analyze system performance, and contribute to the overall efficiency of business processes, all while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality support to users and stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities: - 3- 7 years QA experience - Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in ETL testing using ETL tools such as Informatica, Informatica Intelligent Cloud services, BDM - Proficient in writing SQL and query optimization - AWS Databricks and python basics knowledge is added advantage - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the development and implementation of testing strategies to ensure data integrity and system reliability. - Document and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Professional & Technical Skills: - Good knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architectures - Understanding of ETL concepts and data transformation processes - Review Data Models, Data Mappings, Architectural Documentation to create/execute effective Test Plans and test cases - Ability to transform complex Business logic into SQL queries - Analyze and prepare complex test data sets for executing test cases - Perform data validation and data integrity testing - Identify, document, and track defects in data workflows - Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira) and scheduling tools. - Collaborate with data engineers to resolve data quality issues - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities - Familiarity with the Life Sciences industry is added value Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Data Warehouse ETL Testing. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
