Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to troubleshoot problems, analyzing system performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications that are vital to business functions. You will engage with users to understand their challenges and work diligently to implement effective solutions, all while maintaining a focus on enhancing system reliability and user satisfaction. Roles & Responsibilities: - An "IRIS database" job description focuses on developing, administering, and optimizing InterSystems IRIS or InterSystems Cache (Ensemble) databases. - Responsibilities include designing database architectures, implementing security, performance tuning, managing installations/upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and developing backup/disaster recovery strategies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IRIS Database Administration. - Experience with InterSystems IRIS's unique coding and data structures, and its integration with ETL/BI tools, is often required. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in IRIS DBA Skill. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
