Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to troubleshoot problems, analyzing system performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications that are vital to business functions. You will engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely solutions, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. : Cloud Platform Engineer Project Role Description: Designs, builds, tests, and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Can deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance. Must have Skills: Oracle Database Administration Good to Have Skills: RAC, Dataguard and MSSQL, Exacc Roles & Responsibilities: 1.Database Administration, Patching, Upgrades, Troubleshooting Managing Oracle 11g/12c/19c Databases RAC environments 2.Cloning and Re-building the databases from Production to other Environments using Data pump and RMAN 3.Proactively monitoring the databases health and taking preventive or corrective action as required 4.Managing schema objects, such as tables,indexes,and views 5.Automation of tasks using shell scripting Knowledge of Oracle multitenancy architecture Professional & Technical Skills: 1. 3 years of work experience in customer facing organizations within the IT industry specifically into Oracle technologies 2.Excellent skills in Oracle RDBMS/RAC architecture concepts and good exposure on oracle 11g/12c/19c 3.Strong in Production database Maintenance, Deployment, and Integration 4.Good in Oracle 12c, 19c Standalone/RAC Installation, ASM/RAC Administration, Migration, database Upgradation 5.Good knowledge in database performance tuning Professional Attributes: 1.Good Communication Skills with relevant leadership experience in Team Management 2.Ability to perform under Pressure 3.Good Analytical and Presentation Skills Educational Qualification: Degree in Computer Technology, Knowledge in SNOW, JIRA, Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
