, including AODB (Airport Operational Database), RMS (Resource Management System), FIDS (Flight Information Display System), ESB (Enterprise Service Bus), and other mission-critical airport applications.
In this role, you will act as a functional expert on AODB, lead the L1 support team, and serve as the primary interface with airport operations and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing escalations, gathering and analyzing requirements, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and incident resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide
Level 2 support
for AODB, RMS, FIDS, ESB, and related airport applications.
Understand and document
functional and business workflows
of AODB and other systems.
Analyze complex incidents and problems, identify root causes, and coordinate resolutions with L3 and vendors as needed.
Interact regularly with
airport stakeholders and clients
to understand operational requirements and enhancements.
Work closely with L1 team to guide and mentor them; ensure incidents are handled effectively and within SLA.
Review and improve existing SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and support documentation.
Participate in change management processes - assess impact, support deployments, and conduct validations.
Support during critical airport operations events and planned infrastructure activities.
Lead requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical tasks or change requests.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in application support, preferably in aviation or enterprise operational systems.
Deep functional understanding of
Airport Operational Systems
, especially
AODB
.
Proficiency in
Linux environments (RHEL preferred)
- scripting, log analysis, process monitoring.
Experience working with
Oracle databases
- running queries, analyzing logs, understanding data structures.
Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to articulate technical and functional topics clearly.
Experience mentoring or leading junior support engineers or L1 teams.
Knowledge of ITIL framework - especially incident, problem, and change management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience supporting
AODB, RMS, FIDS, ESB
or similar systems in a live airport environment.
Exposure to airport operations, resource allocation, and flight information workflows.
Oracle or Linux certifications are an advantage.
Experience using ticketing and monitoring tools.
