Position Summary

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Rights Management Specialist to oversee and support the organization's Rights Management System. This critical role reports directly to the Head of Applications, within the Enterprise Technology Group and will serve as a bridge between the IT function and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective use and continual improvement of the SaaS-based Rights Management Application while providing insights, troubleshooting issues, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the subject matter expert for the Rights Management System. Analyze, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and internal teams, including Customer Implementation, Project Management, Business Analysts, Engineering, Product, and Executive leadership. Provide feedback and insights based on business use cases and personal platform experience. Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, software design and architecture, testing, deployment, and documentation. Design and maintain robust database architectures. Deliver application support and technical assistance to business teams as needed. Assist in QA testing and creation of technical and end-user documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Rights Management Systems. Proven ability to analyze business processes and translate them into functional requirements.
At leastWorking experience in successful implementation / upgradation / Migration of Rights Mgmt. System Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience in database design and writing SQL queries. Proficiency in software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Team, Stakeholder, Vendor Management

Preferred Qualifications

-12 years of experience in a techno-functional role within a software or SaaS-based company, preferably in web-based environments. Prior experience in the Media & Entertainment industry with sound knowledge and exposure to systems such as Broadcast Management, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and Ad Sales. Familiarity with bug tracking and service management tools like JIRA and ServiceNow. Working knowledge of SQL/Oracle databases. Experience with Agile methodologies and change/issue management systems. Exposure to or working knowledge of the following technologies is a plus: + Amazon Web Services (AWS) + Angular
