Application Monitoring with Basic Computer Knowledge

Job Summary :

We are looking for a hands-on

Windows Server

the monitoring and performance tuning of Microsoft stack web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Windows operating systems, basic understanding of application servers, and the ability to monitor and support IIS-hosted applications. The role requires close collaboration with development and infrastructure teams to ensure application health, availability, and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities :

Performance & Monitoring

Monitor IIS web server and hosted application performance. Set up and maintain application health checks, uptime monitoring, and threshold alerts. Perform basic troubleshooting of Windows application issues. Monitor and analyze API performance and availability. Generate and share performance reports with stakeholders. Assist in identifying and escalating root cause of recurring performance issues.

Required Skills & Experience :

Minimum

6 month

of experience in Windows application and server monitoring. Basic knowledge of

Windows OS

,

IIS (Internet Information Services)

, and application hosting. Understanding of monitoring tools like

Performance Monitor

,

Event Viewer

, or third-party solutions (e.g., Site24x7, Nagios, SolarWinds, or similar). Ability to troubleshoot application issues related to memory, CPU usage, or service unavailability. Strong communication and documentation skills
