The Role

Responsibilities

The chosen candidate will play the following roles and take on the below responsibilities.

• 
  As application consultant, engage with clients to
• 
  Conduct a TCO/ROI study to come up with the value proposition for application modernization
• 
  Define strategies for cloud adoption of key business applications (focusing on the mapping of business requirements to IT capabilities and align the same).
• 
  Define the approach and plan for application modernization
• 
  Provide architectural leadership to Solution Architects to deliver thoughtful IT solutions to the business

• 
  
  As Lead Architect for project delivery -
• 
  Engage with clients to design applications based on business requirements covering Applications, Data, Cloud Technology & Application Authentication & Authorization.
• 
  Performing quality review of project deliverables. Lead work sessions and client discussion.
• 
  Spearheading the complete Solution Architecture, Digital Transformation, Cloud Modernization & Architecture, Software Development and Performance Tuning

• 
  Collaborate with enterprise architecture, information security, application & infrastructure teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual, and cost-effective application designs by using microservices patterns and best practices
• 
  Design the migration and modernization strategy, transitional process necessary for application to be onboarded on cloud-based architecture that includes APIs, microservices and containers.

  Offering and capability development
• 
  Create application migration and modernization offerings based on market demand and develop delivery capabilities for its execution.

• 
  Define reference architecture for new offerings and provide key differentiator inputs to offering teams in terms of new technology adoption in application area.

Experience

Should have end to end working experience in application development across cloud native environments.

Good understanding and experience of cloud native application design principles (like micro-services, stateless application meant for cloud, containers, 12 factor app principles etc.)

Familiarity with tools such as New Relic, Splunk


Must have executed large app modernization and cloud native architecting programs (at least 2 programs)




Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with one or more automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform
• Experience with containerization packaging, tooling, and DevOps methodologies
• Experience in management and orchestration for distributed federated edge K8S clusters like Helm
• Understanding of computer networking and protocols
