Summary: You will be responsible for defining and driving the overall SAP testing strategy across various project types including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and Fiori. Your role will involve leading estimation efforts, designing testing frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery. You will also be expected to manage testing governance, automation tools, and data management processes while mentoring junior team members and contributing to strategic decisions. Roles & Responsibilities: o Collaborate and manage the testing team to perform effectively across projects. o Responsible for team decisions and quality outcomes. o Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key testing and quality decisions. o Provide solutions to testing challenges across multiple SAP modules and teams. o Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather testing requirements and ensure alignment among stakeholders. o Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in SAP testing methodologies. o Define, plan, and lead end-to-end SAP testing strategies tailored to different project types: Greenfield: New system implementation from scratch Brownfield: Migration/conversion of existing ECC systems to S/4HANA o Define and drive SAP testing strategy including planning, scope, and environment setup. o Lead estimation efforts for testing scope--effort, cost, resource, schedule, and tools. o Develop estimation models and templates using historical data and industry standards. o Design end-to-end testing architecture for functional, integration, regression, and UAT phases. o Identify and implement suitable automation frameworks and tools (e.g., SAP TAO, Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, Micro Focus ALM). o Support test data management including creation, masking, and validation. o Ensure traceability of requirements and manage defect lifecycle using tools like JIRA or Solution Manager. o Collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to report test metrics, progress, and quality risks. Professional & Technical Skills: o Must Have Skills: Strong expertise in SAP testing across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and Fiori. o Deep understanding of SAP testing methodologies and lifecycle. o Experience with automation tools such as SAP TAO, Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, and Micro Focus ALM. o Ability to lead testing strategy and governance across large-scale SAP implementations. o Familiarity with testing tools like JIRA, Solution Manager, and test data management practices. o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and compliance. Additional Information: o The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in SAP testing. o A 15 year full-time education is required.
