Summary: We are seeking an experienced software engineering professional to fulfill a technical leadership role. This position will contribute to and drive technical innovation, partner with cross-team peers, influence and contribute to solution design and software delivery in a multi-cloud environment. Roles and responsibilities: o Develop highly available, reliable and scalable modern SaaS Cloud-Based solutions o Build, test and deliver micro-service / micro-frontend-oriented systems with quality and security best practices using DevOps, TDD, and Platform Engineering techniques. o Partner, review and provide feedback on customer-focused software designs and architecture using modern software design modeling tools o Plan and complete complex critical priorities as a member of an Agile team o Participate in and/or lead domain-driven software design and code reviews sessions o Contribute and improve coding and delivery practices using modern version control and analytic tools o Develop and deliver self-healing systems using modern observability tools o Contribute to modernization of systems using containerization and orchestration technologies o Partner and contribute to the continued improvement of CI/CD build and delivery systems o Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new innovative technologies and practices o Foster a team focus on improving team SDLC efficiencies and quality practices o Self-educate and improve team agile practices using existing Agile SAFE method o Drive Build-Run team improvements in MTTD and MTTR for internal and external clients. o Participate and improve team practices for Incident Management and On-Call procedures o Participate and drive demonstration of product features to program stakeholders o Influence team peers and mentor junior team members Technical experience & Professional attributes: Candidate must be proficient in the following: Technical o Oracle Database skills and PL/SQL proficiency o Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) o Build and delivery of applications and systems on top of AWS, Azure or GCP o Software design patterns with variety OOP and functional programming languages. o Design and deliver application enabled enterprise event-driven systems o Apply Enterprise messaging technologies like Pulsar, SNS/SQS, ASB, and/or others o Application frameworks such as Java Spring Boot, .NET Core, MVC, etc o Object-Relational Mapping frameworks like Hibernate, EF, or similar at scale o Design Open API contract-first RESTful services versioned and deprecated at scale o Distributed Web Apps using JavaScript and CSS technologies like (React/Redux, Angular) o Relational scalable storage using Postgres, MSQL, w/ TSQL query optimizations o Non-Relational database technologies and cloud storage like AWS S3 o Scaling application optimization for Network, Memory and IO performance concerns o Observability and monitoring with Open Telemetry, Datadog, CloudWatch or similar o Implement application and system metrics like KPIs, SLIs and SLO o Containerization and Orchestration with IaC using Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, TF o CI powered Performance, E2E, Functional and Unit testing using TDD and BDD methods o Test automation technologies such as Junit, Spock, Cypress, Groovy, Python, Selenium o Source security and analysis technologies like SonarQube, Dependabot, Snyk o CD experience using GitHub Actions, Terraform, Go, PowerShell and/or Python o Exposure to AI automation pair programing with GitHub Copilot or similar o Security experience with OpenID, OAuth, Rapid7, Cobalt Good to have o Postgres o ASP.NET MVC o C# o JQuery/CSS o Kendo UI (Telerik Product) o SSIS o Crystal Reports Interpersonal o Must be results oriented, customer focused, acting with urgency and purpose. o Ability to make data-driven decisions guided by commitment to customer outcomes o Strong time management and cross-team partnership ensuring alignment in commitments o Adaptive verbal and listening skills being clear and concise while practicing empathy to create an environment which fosters trust in which to provide meaningful feedback o Strong written and presentational skills with the ability to represent various viewpoints. o Passionate hunger for learning and applying emerging technologies o Proven ability to root cause system issues and create/own remediation plans Education qualifications: o B.S. in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience o 6-8 years of experience in application development o Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience Additional Information: The Winning Way behaviors that all employees need in order to meet the expectations of each other, our customers, and our partners. o Communicate with Clarity - Be clear, concise and actionable.
