Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application requirements are met, overseeing the development process, and providing guidance to team members. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the applications are built to meet both functional and non-functional requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies to enhance application efficiency and effectiveness. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of application components. - Create and manage database users, roles and privileges. - Manage database storage, tablespaces and datafiles. - Troubleshoot database issues and provide root cause analysis. - Support Developers with SQL tuning, schema changes and development activities. - Table and schema refresh from Prod to lower environments. - Core Oracle database Skill : Oracle 19c Administration - Data pump ( expdp/impdp ) - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. - Patch Management. - Linux/Unix and windows server. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Database Architecture. - Strong understanding of relational database management systems. - Experience with database design and optimization techniques. - Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts. - Ability to implement security measures for data protection. - Effective communication skills for working with developers and management and client. - Ability to prioritize tasks. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Database Architecture. - Knowledge in OCI autonomous database. - This position is based at our Coimbatore office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
