Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure project milestones are met, facilitating discussions to address challenges, and guiding your team in implementing effective solutions. You will also engage in strategic planning sessions to align project goals with organizational objectives, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and involved in the development process. Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation and efficiency within the application development lifecycle, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving. Roles & Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain Python-based applications and pipelines data models. - Write efficient, reusable, and modular Python code for data preprocessing, training, and inference. - Integrate models into production environments via APIs, microservices, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Collaborate with ML engineers and researchers to experiment with model architectures and optimize performance. - Ensure code quality with unit tests, CI/CD pipelines, and proper documentation. - Work with large datasets: ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering using Pandas, NumPy, and Spark (preferred). - Debug and optimize model performance, memory usage, and scalability. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language). - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. - Optional: Experience with deep learning frameworks: PyTorch (preferred) or TensorFlow. - Optional: Knowledge of NLP, LLMs, and generative AI concepts (transformers, embeddings, prompt engineering, fine-tuning). - Optional: Experience with API development (FastAPI, Flask, or Django). - Familiarity with containerization and deployment (Docker, Kubernetes). - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms . - Strong debugging and performance optimization skills. - Experience in Git-based version control and collaborative development.
