Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application development aligns with business objectives, overseeing project timelines, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to drive project success. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing guidance and support to your team while ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the development process. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the direction of application projects and ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. Roles & Responsibilities: - Experience you would be expected to have: Minimum 3+ years of experience in building and delivering APIs You should have hands on experience in Enterprise-wide API management including API Design, API Documentation, API Security and Compliance, API Ops and API Performance Optimization You should have strong troubleshooting and debugging skills You must have good command in writing API contracts using Swagger and async API specifications You must have hands on experience in maintaining a performant API catalog/developer portal to provide resources, documentation, and tools for developers to consume APIs. You must be open to drive individual requirements to closure independently, including consulting, implementing, documenting all aspects of the API. You must be open to individually solve tickets to support operations Well-versed in API design patterns to create a modern API design. Translate the business domain into several APIs by having a clear understanding of the business vision and its functions. A critical thinker and a good problem solver Previous work experience as an API/Web Service Designer/Developer Work with cross-functional team members from architecture, product management,Product QA, and production operations to develop, test, and release features. Recommend development best practices for application development. Good knowledge of API categorization. Good knowledge of API Swagger. API documentation and specification on Kong Dev portal . Professional & Technical Skills: - Integration solution design and development Good understanding of API security principles. API documentation for Catelog in Dev , QA and Prod environment. New RESTful OpenAPI 2.X/ 3.X APIs and/or GraphQL APIs Specification Updates to existing RESTful APIs to achieve a business need. API documentation for Catelog in dev , QA and Prod environment. Recommend development best practices for application development. Good knowledge of API categorization. Good knowledge of API Swagger. API documentation and specification on Kong Dev portal . Kong API Gateway Knowledge . Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Apigee. - This position is based in Pune. - A 15 years full time education is required.
