Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application requirements are met, overseeing the development process, and providing guidance to team members. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the applications are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Your role will require effective communication and coordination with stakeholders to align project goals and expectations, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead and manage end-to-end service transition activities for new or enhanced services. - Develop and maintain Service Transition Plans, including timelines, risks, and dependencies. - Coordinate with project teams, service owners, and operations to ensure smooth handover to BAU. - Ensure all service readiness criteria are met before go-live (documentation, monitoring, access, support model, training, etc.). - Conduct Operational Readiness Reviews (ORR) and ensure sign-off from stakeholders. - Manage Configuration, Change, and Release management processes in alignment with ITIL best practices. - Oversee the creation and validation of Knowledge Articles, SOPs, and Runbooks. - Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the transition process. - Identify and mitigate transition risks, ensuring proper post-implementation support and warranty. - Drive continuous improvement in transition methodology and documentation quality. Professional & Technical Skills: - 10+ years of IT Service Management experience with at least 3+ years in Service Transition or Service Delivery. - Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Service Transition, Change, Release, Configuration, and Incident Management). - Experience in managing large-scale or complex service transitions in a multi-vendor or global environment. - Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. - Strong documentation and process governance capabilities. - Proficiency with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, or ITSM suites. - ITIL v3/v4 Foundation or Intermediate certification preferred. . Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Service Transition. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
