Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application requirements are met, overseeing the development process, and providing guidance to team members. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the applications are aligned with business objectives and user needs, while fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. - Develop and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and performance. - Implement/manage database migrations using Alembic. - Collaborate with AI engineers, product managers, and domain experts. - Ensure data quality, integrity, and security. - Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker (Software), Python (Programming Language). - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture. - Experience with application lifecycle management and deployment strategies. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Databricks. - Experience in pharma/life sciences data environments. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, Google) and containerization (Docker). - Exposure to AI/ML workflows. - A 15 years full time education is required.
