Summary: We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Associate Manager to lead a team of DBAs, ensure seamless database operations, and deliver high-quality database management services for critical client environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Oracle Database technologies, combined with proven leadership skills to manage a global DBA team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities: o Manage the installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle databases (versions 11g/12c/19c) across production and non-production environments. o Oversee performance tuning, database optimization, and proactive monitoring to ensure high availability. o Ensure database security, user access controls, and compliance with organizational and client standards. o Manage database backup and recovery strategies using RMAN/Data Guard. o Oversee database upgrades, migrations, and patching activities with minimal downtime. o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Oracle DBAs, including offshore and onshore resources. o Allocate work, track deliverables, and ensure SLA adherence. o Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and training sessions for the DBA team. o Support team members on complex technical escalations and act as the primary escalation point. o Collaborate closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure seamless database operations. o Act as the primary point of contact for client interactions related to database services. o Provide regular updates to leadership and clients regarding ongoing projects, database performance, and incident resolutions o Oversee database-related deliverables for new client transitions and greenfield implementations. o Participate in solution design discussions and provide input on database architecture and capacity planning. o Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and handover between project and support teams Professional & Technical Skills: o Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. o Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. o Client-facing capabilities with a consultative approach. o Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM) preferred. o ITIL certification is a plus. Additional Information: o Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. o A 15 years full-time education is required
